Our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team in the Corporate Group is looking for a Data Analyst to join them. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret Environmental Health & Safety data to support compliance and risk management. You will develop dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics, collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
- Collaborate with EHS team members to identify data needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve EHS processes and compliance.
- Support development and implementation of EHS initiatives through data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all data handling processes.
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain data ecosystems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
- At least 1 year of experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must live locally to the Buffalo area (no relocation assistance).
- U.S. citizenship required due to access to certain data.
