About the Role
As the Engagement and Experimentation Manager for EMEA, you will be responsible for understanding and driving on-platform engagement across the region. You will own the EMEA personalization, homepage, and experimentation program, staying close to weekly engagement performance and applying that understanding across the wider engagement agenda. This highly collaborative role serves as the region's primary point of contact into global personalization, search, and algorithms teams, and works closely with merchandising, analytics, marketing, CRM, and local market teams across EMEA. You’ll join a team grounded in Disney values: Integrity, Inclusion, Creativity, Collaboration, and Community.
Responsibilities
- Own the EMEA personalization and experimentation roadmap, setting the regional testing agenda and publishing it monthly.
- Feed into global roadmap planning and ensure priority EMEA personalization, homepage, and search initiatives are picked up centrally.
- Run the regional intake process, sourcing, qualifying, and prioritizing experiment ideas with local market and business teams.
- Design experiments that answer a clear business question, defining the hypothesis and success measures.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of the regional experiment pipeline, from brief and set-up through launch, QA, and rollout decision.
- Work closely with global product and content programming teams to secure capability, capacity, and technical set-up.
- Coordinate merchandising, analytics, content operations, creative, and marketing teams.
- Manage artwork experimentation and randomization, collaborating with content, creative, and global teams on asset sourcing and delivery.
- Triage and resolve live platform and experiment issues.
- Act as the voice of the region, ensuring global execution reflects EMEA market needs and customer behaviors.
- Track weekly engagement performance across the region, understanding drivers and opportunities.
- Conduct deeper analysis into engagement patterns and customer lifecycle behavior to inform the wider engagement agenda.
- Produce and distribute experiment results readouts and platform insights for local market teams and regional leadership.
- Use data and insight to build the regional engagement narrative and identify the next set of opportunities to test.
- Take the lead on broader engagement projects beyond personalization and experimentation, spanning new audience propositions, platform-wide product initiatives, and changes to the commercial model.
- Work end-to-end with CRM, PR, content promotion, and marketing teams to shape the full customer experience.
- Operate beyond your own workstream, bringing in teams whose input shapes the customer journey.
- Own the region's experimentation and engagement forums.
- Brief and support local market teams on regional tests.
- Build and maintain relationships across global product, regional functions, and local markets.
Requirements
- Experience within a digital business such as subscription, retail, or trading.
- Successful track record in product.
- Trading mindset with a proven track record of delivering daily optimization and improvements to core retention KPIs.
- Experience thriving in cross-functional / multi-territory teams, ideally in an international matrix organization.
