About the Role
The BPAS team of Participant Services Representatives is responsible for responding to retirement plan and/or benefit plan (FSA, VEBA, HSA) participant questions and inquiries via phone or e-mail in a polite, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You must take pride in and truly enjoy assisting others.
Responsibilities
- Respond to retirement plan and/or benefit plan participant questions and inquiries via phone or e-mail.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.
- Become proficient with software applications utilized in the position.
- Study for and pass ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals Course, as applicable.
- Provide assistance to internal departments.
- Assist the department and the Company in achieving their goals.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 year degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred.
- Customer Service experience required, or a degree in lieu of experience.
- Related experience working with retirement plans or benefits plans (FSA, VEBA, HSA) is a plus.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized and show an attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask.
- Intermediate level competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Intermediate level competency with personal computer skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
