About the Role
As a Data Engineer at ASP, you will build the technical backbone for clients' data and AI initiatives by designing and implementing production-ready data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure. You will work directly on high-stakes enterprise projects, laying the foundation for reporting, automation, and GenAI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate data pipelines, integrations, and data infrastructure in real corporate production environments.
- Build APIs and connectors to integrate heterogeneous systems and maintain consistent data mapping.
- Set up and manage cloud data infrastructure, including access rights, identity, and security configuration.
- Utilize modern data platform tools like Microsoft Fabric or Databricks to build and operate scalable data solutions.
- Establish the technical foundation for reporting, automation, and GenAI use cases.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and operating data pipelines in a corporate production environment.
- Solid understanding of data quality practices and cross-system data mapping.
- Hands-on experience integrating heterogeneous systems, including building APIs and connectors.
- Knowledge of cloud providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure), including IAM and security configuration.
- Experience with modern data platform tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar.
- Good knowledge of networking and security fundamentals for data infrastructure.
- Proven track record delivering similar work on high-stakes projects is a significant advantage.
