About the Role

Responsibilities
- Observe the implementation and management of Amazon's safety programs and standards.
- Support the construction team to ensure appropriate skills and competencies of contract labor.
- Witness budget and schedule tracking and forecasting, identifying and solving project impediments.
- Study coordination with authorities for regulatory compliance and smooth job execution.
- Partner with internal customers and external stakeholders to earn trust and deliver results.
- Support the team to ensure contracted resources meet duration and quality targets.
- Support construction managers in maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Support multiple projects in various locations, with potential travel to project sites.
- Observe Amazon Construction Managers in ensuring safe, on-time, and in-budget project execution.
- Participate in daily tasks supporting the team, including coordinating with contractors, ensuring contractual obligations, seeking sustainable solutions, and utilizing Amazon information systems.
- Observe and assist in negotiating contract terms with contractors.
- Observe and participate in weekly architect, owner, and contractor meetings, providing input on root causes and corrective action.
Requirements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above.
- Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university bachelor’s or master’s in Engineering, Construction Management or comparable field.
- Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) and commit to 6 month internship.
- Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to influence all levels of an organization.
