About the Role
Knight Frank is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their Building Consultancy team. This role offers hands-on experience with diverse commercial property instructions, client interaction, and structured support towards APC and MRICS qualification.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and undertake a broad range of building surveying instructions
- Project management and contract administration
- Dilapidations advice and negotiations
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Pre-acquisition surveys
- Technical due diligence
- Schedules of Condition
- Defect analysis and building pathology
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Preparation of specifications and technical reports
- Supporting party wall instructions
- Client liaison and stakeholder management
- Develop strong client relationships
- Build professional network
- Take increasing responsibility as experience grows
- Contribute to business development activities
- Attend industry events
- Build profile within the market
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Ambition to become MRICS qualified
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
