About the Role
Develop, implement, and optimize sophisticated datacenter and infrastructure solutions in server, storage, virtualization, backup and recovery, and monitoring and observability. Create technical detail concepts and designs, transforming architecture and consulting concepts into secure, high-performance, and operable solutions. Support migrations, upgrades, consolidations, and the introduction of new infrastructure platforms from technical planning through implementation to operational handover. Ensure availability, performance, scalability, security, and recoverability of solutions, developing appropriate operational, testing, backup, and recovery concepts. Automate recurring tasks and configuration processes, conduct error, performance, and root cause analyses. Create technical documentation, operational handovers, and runbooks, supporting the implementation of requirements from IT security, compliance, and relevant regulations. Take technical lead for individual workstreams or implementation teams, support consultants with assessments, effort estimations, and solution evaluations, and collaborate closely with clients and other technology experts.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, an IT-related apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in engineering, design, or operation of datacenter infrastructures.
- Detailed technical solution planning, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Experience with migrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization of productive environments.
- Experience with automation of infrastructure and configuration processes.
- Experience using tools like PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or Terraform securely and purposefully.
- Knowledge of requirements for secure, stable, and efficient IT operations.
- Structured and self-reliant work approach.
- Ability to communicate technical issues understandably with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Ideally, knowledge of ITSM or ITIL and relevant regulatory and security requirements.
- Confidently use AI tools in your field, critically evaluate results, and help clients and adessi leverage AI potential.
