About the Role
The Data Center Engineering team shapes the future of data center physical design. This role involves complex problem-solving related to power usage and environmentally-friendly facilities, optimizing for efficiency and continuous improvement. You will generate ideas, present recommendations to senior executives, and drive implementation with facilities technicians.
Responsibilities
- Define data center system-level, product architecture, and research and development while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
- Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
Requirements
- Experience implementing civil/structural engineering principles (e.g., grading and drainage, hydraulic modeling, sediment control, erosion control, or soil migration).
- Experience with building design, coordination, and construction.
