About the Role
DX is looking for an EMEA Marketing Lead to own the company's presence in the region. This role will act as the liaison between the EMEA market and the global marketing team, adapting strategies to ensure success in the region. It requires understanding target accounts, collaborating with Account Executives (AEs), and developing effective outreach strategies. This is a foundational marketing position for an experienced individual capable of defining and executing regional marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a view of target accounts in the region, including contacts, campaign history, and pipeline status.
- Partner with AEs to create account engagement plans, identifying key contacts and aligning programs with the buying stage.
- Execute account engagement plans through various tactics such as executive roundtables, dinners, direct mail, and personalized digital campaigns.
- Serve as the voice of EMEA within the marketing organization, relaying customer, AE, and partner feedback to inform global programs.
- Review and adapt existing marketing assets (ads, emails, campaigns) for regional relevance, including language and cultural context.
- Identify and communicate gaps in regional content, such as case studies and website information.
- Ensure DX has an appropriate presence at EMEA events and provide direct support for event activities.
- Organize regional executive programs like roundtables and dinners focused on AI transformation.
- Collaborate with Events teams to recruit executives for events as attendees or speakers.
- Design regional programming around global events to generate territory-specific pipeline opportunities.
- Host regional webinars featuring subject matter experts, tailored to the EMEA audience.
- Partner with demand generation teams to promote webinars and drive target attendance.
- Identify and test new channels, communities, or partners to expand DX's reach in EMEA.
- Build business cases for scaling successful initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience running field or regional marketing in a B2B SaaS or developer tools company with limited support.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Experience in account-based marketing, developing plans around named account lists.
- Proven experience running executive programs/events, including positioning and agenda design.
- Comfort with various marketing tasks, including writing webinar briefs, reviewing campaign sequences, and working at events.
- Strong understanding of messaging resonance across different markets.
- Confidence to challenge messaging that may not resonate regionally.
- Effective collaboration skills with demand generation, events, product marketing, and sales teams.
- Ability to foster productive relationships without direct ownership of all functions.
- Motivation to build and define new initiatives in a growing role.
