About the Role
Shine is a financial copilot for entrepreneurs and small business owners, now part of Cegid, a European leader in cloud software. We are building Europe's leading financial copilot for small businesses and their accountants, supporting over one million small businesses and 15,000 accountants across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Support Tax Advisors and Their Use of the Tax Advisor Tool by providing expert support and helping them resolve accounting and tax-related questions.
- Deliver Premium Expert Support by organizing and conducting expert appointments.
- Resolve Complex Accounting Questions by taking ownership of inquiries and providing clear, accurate, and actionable solutions.
- Enable Internal Teams by supporting and training colleagues on accounting-related topics.
- Build Helpful Resources by contributing to the knowledge base, FAQs, internal documentation, and other educational resources.
- Improve the Customer Experience by identifying recurring questions and pain points and turning them into scalable solutions.
- Partner with Product by providing expert feedback on accounting and tax-related topics to improve existing features and shape future development.
Requirements
- Solid experience in bookkeeping, accounting, tax consulting, or a related field.
- Experience in customer support, customer success, consulting, or another service-oriented role is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of German bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Ability to apply knowledge to practical customer cases.
- Experience working with tax advisors, accounting firms, or self-employed professionals is highly desirable.
- Genuine passion for helping people and the ability to provide clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics simply and clearly.
- Ability to understand complex accounting cases, identify issues, develop solutions, and take ownership of inquiries.
- Interested in digital products and motivated to work closely with Product teams.
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and quick to learn new tools.
- Experience with accounting software, tax advisor platforms, or customer support tools such as Zendesk or Intercom is a plus.
- Native-level (or C2) German is required.
- Solid English skills for internal team communication.
