About the Role
Join Mott MacDonald as a Graduate Process Engineer to design practical solutions for a more secure, efficient, and low-carbon energy system. You will apply chemical and process engineering principles to complex challenges in areas like hydrogen, CCUS, and low-carbon fuels, with support from experienced colleagues and a mentor.
Responsibilities
- Develop process designs, including flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and equipment specifications.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, concept selection, and front-end engineering design (FEED) for energy transition projects.
- Support thermal design work, such as heat exchanger sizing and energy efficiency assessments.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions for hydrogen, CCUS, and low-carbon fuels.
- Explore opportunities to contribute to advisory projects, including techno-economic evaluations and strategic assessments.
Requirements
- Less than 12 months' relevant experience (excluding placements).
- Eligible to achieve security clearance.
- Must be a UK British national or have lived in the UK for five years or more to meet security clearance requirements.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and Mott MacDonald.
- Highlight relevant experience or interests such as modules studied, previous work experience, or research about the company, values, and projects.
