Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of transport planning projects across the UK and potentially internationally.
Contributing to technical analysis, assisting in preparing reports and proposals.
Engaging with clients and stakeholders to help shape sustainable transport solutions.
Working on policy analysis, data interpretation, and strategic planning.
Developing specialist transport modelling software skills, programming and automation skills, and data analytics.
Creating transport models which represent the transport network, the demand for travel and the travel choices and behaviours that individuals make.
Calibrating models against real world data and using them to forecast future scenarios and test the impact of transport schemes and policies.
Interpreting model results and communicating them to colleagues and clients.

Requirements

Less than 12 months' relevant experience (excluding placements).
Bachelors/Masters degree (obtained no earlier than 2025) or expected to achieve one.
Genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald.
Highlight relevant experience or interests such as modules studied, previous work experience, or research about the company, values, and projects.
Proactively takes initiative to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
Communicates effectively and clearly with clients and colleagues.
Delivers high quality written work with strong attention to detail and clarity.

Not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
