About the Role

As a graduate in our Asset Management & Infrastructure Planning sub-sector, you’ll be part of a team that’s helping utilities, regulators, governments, and global organisations make smarter decisions for the future of water and wastewater services. You’ll work alongside experts, contribute to meaningful projects, and have the support, learning opportunities, and experience needed to grow your career from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients in improving how they plan, deliver, and operate asset portfolios.
  • Assessing utility performance and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, resilience, and environmental protection.
  • Improving asset data collection and analysis to inform sustainable investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
  • Degree obtained no earlier than 2025, or expected to achieve one.
  • Genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald.
  • Highlight relevant experience or interests, such as modules studied, previous work experience, or research about the company, values, and projects.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to use initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, allowing confident liaison with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
  • Not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
  • Cannot accept applications from candidates who would be working under the Graduate visa route or other time-limited visas.
