About the Role
Join HCA UK at University College Hospital as an Advanced Physiotherapist, playing a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services within an acute inpatient environment. Focus on supporting patients with haematology and oncology treatments, working within a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across acute inpatient environments.
- Support patients throughout their treatment, with a focus on haematology and oncology.
- Assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients with complex clinical needs.
- Optimize patient recovery, promote independence, and facilitate safe and timely discharge.
- Manage a varied caseload of acute patients.
- Provide specialist advice to colleagues.
- Support service improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a responsive and patient-centred therapy service.
Requirements
- Graduate Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy
- Registration with HCPC
- At least 3 years of acute hospital inpatient experience
- Demonstrable experience and special interest in haematology/oncology
