About the Role
As an Associate within the CEEMEA Investment Banking team, you will play an important role in the origination and execution of advisory and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on clients and opportunities across Central and Eastern Europe.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the origination and execution of M&A, ECM, DCM and other strategic advisory transactions across Central and Eastern Europe and the broader CEEMEA region
- Coordinating transaction processes and workstreams across clients, product teams, legal advisers and other external stakeholders
- Preparing and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, merger models and transaction-related materials
- Developing high-quality client presentations, pitchbooks, strategic reviews and marketing materials
- Conducting company, industry and market research and translating insights into actionable recommendations for clients
- Working closely with senior bankers on client coverage initiatives and business development opportunities
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A advisory, Capital Markets or a related field
- Strong execution experience and understanding of transaction processes across advisory and capital markets products
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
- Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
