About the Role

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you will have the opportunity to create your own personalized work schedule by picking up shifts that best suit your availability. This role is ideal for those seeking flexibility while contributing to a consistent guest experience by ensuring products are in stock, accurately priced, and well-presented in our smallest format stores.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming experience by engaging guests during daily tasks.
Assist guests by solving their specific needs in a welcoming manner.
Thank guests and express appreciation for their shopping at Target.
Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to enhance the guest experience.
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption.
Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and stocked.
Assist with truck unloading and stocking products on the sales floor.
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments.
Conduct weekly price changes and ensure accurate signing for all departments.
Complete scans and system audits for inventory accuracy.
Support the execution of major transitions.
Maintain interior and exterior brand standards, including cleanliness and cart management.
Accurately execute all pulls and backstock product from all departments.
Process inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy.
Complete all backroom weekly audits.
Operate power equipment if certified.
Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy.
Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Work safely, comply with safety policies, and report hazards.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU).
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices.
Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
Ability to work both independently and with a team.
Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and immediately.
Attention to detail and ability to follow a multi-step process.
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
Ability to climb up and down ladders safely.
Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds.
Occasionally lift or move merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds without assistance.
Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.
Flexibility when picking up shifts to help meet store needs.
Active engagement by picking up and working shifts.
Respond to attempts at contact.
Must work at least one shift within 5 months or employment will be terminated.
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
