About the Role
Join Executive Aviation's Below the Wing team as a full-time Ground Handler at London International Airport (YXU). This role offers the opportunity to provide ground service support to Canadian airlines, working with a supportive Shift Lead.
Responsibilities
- Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with Transport Canada regulations.
- Operate ground service equipment.
- Marshall and wing-walk aircraft to the gate.
- Sort, load, and offload guest baggage according to the load plan.
- Deliver guest baggage to the claim area and unload onto the conveyor system.
- Service aircraft water and lavatories.
- Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it.
- Clean aircraft cabins, galleys, and lavatories, and restock supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexibility to work shift work, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Physical ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs/32kgs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must wear safety wear, including steel toe boots (green patch), a reflective vest, and hearing protection.
- Ability to meet all conditions of employment, including obtaining a Restricted Area pass from Transport Canada.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driver abstract.
