About the Role
Lead strategy and execution for Google Chrome's social media presence, growing in ambiguity and operating in a rapidly changing environment. This role requires experience running global programs, driving business impact through collaboration with internal and external partners, understanding platform nuances, and cultivating community engagement through creative messaging. The ideal candidate possesses obsessive attention to detail, visual quality, and is an ultimate multitasker adept at managing heavy workloads, identifying scaling opportunities, and working cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the editorial calendar across social channels, ensuring a consistent mix of always-on and campaign-based content.
- Oversee end-to-end content quality and publishing, including creative reviews, platform optimization, and community engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with internal makers and agency partners to ensure all creative work intended for social channels adheres to brand and legal standards.
- Provide input on campaign briefs to shape impactful, platform-native organic social deliverables.
- Analyze and report on content performance, surfacing insights that inform future content and platform strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in consumer-facing social media marketing.
- 3 years of experience in social media.
- Experience driving earned conversation on social media and in PR.
- Experience working with social talent such as creators/influencers.
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
- Experience in social channel management and with social media content publishing and reporting tools (e.g., Social Media Platform Business Manager, YouTube Studio, or other native channel platform tools).
- Experience in consumer tech with product positioning and marketing.
- Strong understanding of how social performance connects to brand marketing objectives and business KPIs.

Salary/Compensations
- US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity
