About the Role
This role involves leading every facet of a product's journey, from determining positioning and competitive analysis to external communications. You will shape the product and help it grow a consumer base by working with cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to work directly with executive marketing managers and team members in Japan and APAC, gaining experience in a fluid environment to create unforgettable moments for creators.
Responsibilities
- Drive the go-to-market strategy, plan, and execution for Google's consumer apps in Japan, using research and insights.
- Conduct business analytics to support marketing strategy, impact, and measurement.
- Work with various stakeholders, including internal cross-functional teams, external agencies, and external partners, communicating proactively and solving problems collaboratively.
- Identify and develop marketing operational processes to enhance overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or leading consumer-facing B2C marketing campaigns within the Japan market.
- Experience in stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Japanese for client relationship management in the region.
