About the Role
Nothing Bundt Cakes Carle Place is seeking a personable and confident individual to welcome and assist guests with purchases. The Guest Service Representative creates a warm, welcoming environment, offers creative solutions for celebrations, and sells cakes, embodying core values and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greets guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, following NbC Sweet Steps of Service.
- Educates guests on cake distinction, size, flavor profiles, pricing, and promotions.
- Suggests additional merchandise like balloons and candles to complete celebrations.
- Processes guest orders accurately using the point-of-sale system and invites guests to join the reward program.
- Maintains a clean and organized bakery presentation, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
- Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case.
- Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies.
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and personal hygiene.
- Maintains consistent work attendance and punctuality.
Requirements

- Enjoys interacting with diverse people and excels at providing a superior guest experience.
- Can perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Is diligent, organized and self-motivated.
- Has the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Is comfortable with new technology and has the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Understands basic arithmetic and can provide monetary change using U.S. currency.
- Has the capacity to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
