We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Campaign Manager who can tell the story of our impact to key audiences, enabling us to raise more money for Evelina London, Guy’s Cancer Centre and Guy’s and St Thomas’s. This role would suit someone who enjoys leading cross-functional teams to produce impactful integrated marketing, working across a broad portfolio to produce briefs, assets and campaigns that deliver brand, lead generation and income targets.
Responsibilities

- Set and deliver on the overall brief, including integrated campaign proposition brief.
- Work with Fundraising and Brand leads to set targets and agree content requirements.
- Collaborate with Brand and Supporter Experience to define target audiences, actionable insights, and land comms plans.
- Work with channel and platform owners to unearth additional audience insights and agree paid, earned, owned and shared media plans.
- Devise comms planning tools, processes and mechanisms for multi-channel, multi-audience campaigns.
- Work with storytelling, funding, and other teams to identify potential stories and ensure accurate representation of funded projects and clinical outcomes.
- Produce content briefs for in-house and freelance production.
- Oversee content packs for platform, channel and product owners to self-serve.
- Oversee campaign budgets and reporting frameworks.
- Enable real-time campaign optimisation.
- Evaluate activity and make data-led recommendations for improvements and future investment.
- Provide strategic marketing support on non-integrated campaigns when workload allows.
- Work closely with PTC/CHP Comms Lead for integrated campaigns supporting fundraising for the Evelina London transformation programme.
- Lead cross-functional groups including fundraising, funding, digital, brand, and supporter experience for other campaigns.
- Potentially work directly with the Comms team and clinicians at the Trust.
- Line manage a Marketing Campaigns Officer.
- Integrated campaign project planning, delivery and evaluation (approx. 75% of role).
- Set metrics with stakeholders to hit annual channel, product, and campaign targets.
- Produce briefs for integrated activity, including campaign propositions, target audiences, audience insight, case study and content requirements.
- Agree paid, earned, owned, and shared media plans and ensure alignment with wider comms plans.
- Produce content briefs enabling impactful and cost-effective asset development.
- Oversee content packs enabling platform, channel, and product owners to self-serve impactful comms.
- Ensure campaign reporting enables real-time optimisation, additional content production, and meaningful end-of-campaign evaluations.
- Strategic marketing support (approx. 15% of role).
- Support fundraisers to write impactful briefs and propositions for non-integrated campaigns.
- Devise comms planning tools, processes, and mechanisms for multi-channel, multi-audience campaigns.
- Team Management (approx. 10% of role).
- Line management of 1 x Marketing Campaigns Officer, ensuring strong performance against objectives.
Requirements
- Experience of working with audience personas and using audience insight to shape briefs.
- Experience of developing integrated campaign propositions for multiple business objectives.
- Knowledge of requirements of digital platforms and channels when running a marketing campaign with paid, owned and earned elements.
- Experience of working on a broad campaign portfolio, and ensuring that details are accurately and impactfully communicated.
- Experience of delivering campaigns that deliver brand objectives.
- Experience of leading cross-functionally.
- Experience in reviewing and producing creative briefs that deliver impactful photography, videography and other creative assets.
- Knowledge of fundraising, ideally both high value and mass market, and ideally in an NHS or health context.
- Ability to identify and champion the needs of a target audience.
- Ability to evaluate pros and cons of an approach dispassionately, including costs, and to exercise judgment when applying recommendations in our context.
- Curiosity about others’ viewpoints, and the skills to reconcile where different to deliver a result.
- Excellent people skills with an ability to build strong relationships quickly with a range of stakeholders.
- Committed to constant learning and improving, including openness to feedback.
- Willingness to engage in problem-solving in other specialist areas.
- Committed to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Resilience to work independently and to lead when data is unclear or the broader context is uncertain.
- Confidence to identify and move on when the work is ‘good enough’.
