About the Role
Join our Imaging team at The Portland Hospital as a Senior Radiographer, contributing to high-quality imaging services across General X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology. You will work with both paediatric and adult patients, utilising technical expertise to produce exceptional diagnostic images while providing a safe, compassionate, and patient-centred experience. This role supports complex theatre and interventional procedures, working closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality imaging services across General X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology.
- Utilise technical expertise to produce exceptional diagnostic images.
- Provide a safe, compassionate, and patient-centred experience.
- Support complex theatre and interventional procedures.
- Work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to maintaining high professional standards.
- Support service development.
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.
- Significant post-registration experience within Diagnostic Imaging.
- Demonstrable experience in General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Imaging.
- Sound understanding of radiation protection legislation and best practice.
- Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
