About the Role
Capsa AI is building the AI Operating System for private capital funds to manage investment processes. The company has experienced significant growth and is seeking talented individuals to join their team at the forefront of AI and industry revolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage engineers across three squads (intelligence, experience, and platform).
- Own hiring and people development for engineering teams.
- Strengthen technical leadership within each team.
- Partner with product managers and technical leads to translate company priorities into objectives.
- Shape solutions collaboratively and agree on credible delivery plans.
- Ensure engineers understand customer problems and explore solutions.
- Be accountable for engineering capability, quality of work, and delivery against commitments.
- Make capacity, dependencies, and risks visible.
- Resolve obstacles and work with Product and CTO on priority, scope, or timing changes.
- Share responsibility for work outcomes with Product and squads.
Requirements
- Managed engineers directly for a few years.
- Strong individual contributor experience at a venture-backed startup or tech company.
- Coordinated work across teams or substantial parallel workstreams.
- Resolved dependencies and competing demands while maintaining engineer ownership.
- Hired and developed people, making decisions about team shape.
- Shipped distributed systems, data pipelines, or platform services to production through a led team.
- Comfortable operating at pace with incomplete information.
- Takes responsibility for team output and customer impact.
- Thinks carefully about problems and decisions, using AI to enhance thinking.
- Accepts time constraints and incomplete information, makes progress, and adjusts.
