About the Role
The Management Accountant is a key finance partner to graze's factory and supply chain functions, owning monthly performance reporting, forecasting and variance analysis for factory and supply chain costs. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Product Development to provide financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and drive commercial value.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance reports for the factory and supply chain, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key trends of COGs and factory costs.
- Run the monthly and quarterly forecasting process for factory and supply chain costs with supply chain operations teams.
- Support budgeting and long-range planning across the business.
- Analyze variances against budget and forecast, understand drivers, and provide clear recommendations and corrective actions.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Development, acting as a trusted advisor to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Requirements
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a factory finance or manufacturing finance role is desirable.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present financial information simply and engagingly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using financial reporting systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders.
