About the Role
As a driving force behind our sales success, you will combine technical expertise with sales understanding. You will impress with broad and deep technological knowledge in the AI environment and the ability to inspire customers as a trusted advisor and win them for Computacenter. You will be responsible for the pre-sales phase for AI projects in the data center environment and, together with sales, will successfully close complex deals in enterprise and public sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support Solution Sales in all relevant AI projects, lead the solution architecture, and ensure quality with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Independently acquire projects for current AI technology topics in the data center environment.
- Create offers based on economic calculations and justify the service content to customers.
- Analyze customers and competitors to strategically and technologically steer the sales process as an integral part of the sales team.
- Live technology thought leadership for AI with a focus on data centers.
- Actively develop the AI portfolio and innovative service offerings based on customer needs, market opportunities, and manufacturer portfolios in collaboration with Solution Management.
Requirements
- Completed degree or comparable qualification and extensive project and consulting experience in the data center environment, with a focus on AI.
- Several years of pre-sales experience (infrastructure and services) in complex, cross-functional AI projects, in collaboration with leading manufacturers of server, network, and storage technologies.
- Lead role in AI projects is a plus.
- Deep technical understanding of infrastructure-related AI technology, as well as relevant software stacks in GenAI, ML, and HPC.
- Impress with very good rhetoric and presentation techniques and a confident, trustworthy demeanor as a solution partner.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to take responsibility.
- Convincing communication in German and English.
