About the Role

As a Solution Owner, you will have end-to-end technical responsibility in complex, cross-functional bid and tender situations, leading the bid team. You will work closely with sales, who are responsible for the commercial closing, providing a technically sound, deliverable, and winnable solution concept.

Responsibilities

Serve as the central technical point of contact for Application Platform solutions, qualifying customer inquiries with sales.
Take technical responsibility from customer engagement to bid submission in complex presales situations.
Develop solution and bid architectures, from Kubernetes and Platform Engineering to Observability and DevSecOps, making effort, risk, and winnability robust.
Guide customers up to C-level through architectural and investment decisions, and moderate qualification workshops.
Hold overall technical responsibility within the bid team and ensure a smooth technical handover to delivery.
Incorporate insights from deals into the expansion of Application Platform offerings.

Requirements

Completed degree or equivalent qualification, along with extensive project and consulting experience in the cloud-native or platform environment.
Presales experience in complex, cross-functional consulting projects.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes/Container Platforms and Platform Engineering; solid understanding of Observability, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
Good experience in handling tenders, bid management, and complex requirements.
High persuasive power and technological consulting competence to win customers and contracts.
Very good rhetorical and presentation skills in German and English (minimum C1).
