About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro's social channels, creating content that reflects the brand's ethos and resonates with the community. This role requires a fast-paced, analytical, and self-starting individual who can launch new products and create compelling ecosystem content.
Responsibilities
- Craft scroll-stopping, platform-native content for X, Telegram, and beyond to maximize impact and reach for Kraken Pro.
- Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly craft timely, on-brand content.
- Actively engage with the Kraken Pro audience by replying, quoting, polling, and memeing to foster meaningful conversation.
- Build and maintain a content calendar, including creating posts, routing for approvals, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring performance.
- Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives.
- Track growth and performance, iterating based on insights and experiments.
- Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years in social or content, ideally in fintech, crypto, or trading.
- Exceptional portfolios are valued over résumés.
- Ability to work at speed under pressure.
- High AI competency to multiply impact and keep up with demand.
- Demonstrated range as a maker, including copy, memes, short-form video, charts, and threads.
- Strong taste and judgment on when to post.
- Comfortable handling high-paced social channels.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to produce visually appealing content.
- Ability to partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant messaging.
