About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for high-reach enterprise e-commerce platforms, making architectural decisions with the Tech Lead, and continuously advancing modern frontend development.
Responsibilities
- Development of high-frequency user interfaces for enterprise e-commerce platforms based on JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3.
- Implementation of impactful frontend features to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
- Collaboration with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and designers to deliver modern design systems and features.
- Developing architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and evaluating new web technologies.
- Ensuring high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and active participation in team retrospectives.
- Further development of shop features and designs in an agile Scrum environment, primarily with Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS.
- Ensuring consistent quality assurance and pixel-perfect design implementation using testing frameworks like Vitest and Playwright.
- Active knowledge transfer and exchange within our internal tech community.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience and in-depth expertise in frontend development.
- Practical experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Vue 3, Nuxt 3, or Node.js (or solid ReactJS skills with a willingness to switch to Vue).
- Confident command of fundamental web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and a keen eye for precise UI design implementation.
- Background in B2C e-commerce or experience from a dynamic boutique agency environment.
- Excellent communication skills (in English) and strong empathy for the perspectives of others.
- Practical knowledge of automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.
- Initial experience with Vue Storefront or Scayle is advantageous.
- Experience with Redis is a plus.
- Passion for web accessibility is another plus.
