About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to analyze customer requirements, design tailored DevOps solutions including CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments, and provide technical consulting on best practices. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of designed solutions, building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer requirements and existing development and operational processes.
- Create a detailed catalog of requirements for automation and optimization solutions.
- Design customized DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
- Design scalable, secure, and performant system architectures using modern technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Advise clients and internal teams on best practices in DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Identify opportunities for integrating technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Take responsibility for the technical implementation of designed solutions or support the implementation team.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code for efficient infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Provide fast and efficient problem-solving for technical challenges in build, deployment, and operational processes.
- Offer continuous support and monitoring to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and conduct training programs and workshops for effective use of DevOps tools.
- Create documentation and best practice materials for clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proficient use of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Golang, or Nodejs).
- Passion for automating processes using workflow tools (e.g., GitlabCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD/Workflows, or AzureDevops).
- Good knowledge and several years of experience in Kubernetes.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
