About the Role
Partner with leaders to build a proactive SH&E culture and translate strategy into practical outcomes while collaborating across our Australia–New Zealand (ANZ) network. You will act as a trusted advisor on complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure and consulting projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to drive a proactive SH&E culture and provide pragmatic, commercially savvy advice.
- Develop, consult, and implement SH&E programs and initiatives, embedding them into project planning and delivery.
- Lead risk management activities relevant to business lines, including audit and assurance programs.
- Support incident investigations to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Monitor performance trends and convert insights into actionable plans for continuous improvement.
- Champion psychosocial risk management and mental health initiatives.
- Build strong relationships and be part of the ANZ SHE Team network.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- Recognised NEBOSH or equivalent professional qualification.
- Lead Auditor and ICAM Investigator certified.
- Demonstrated incident investigation and auditing capability focused on actionable outcomes.
- Significant experience in a senior SHE business partnering (or similar) role within engineering, infrastructure or professional services.
- Proven track record in developing and sustainably implementing health, safety and environmental procedures and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SH&E risk management principles and their practical application in complex environments.
- Confident, respectful, and collaborative.
- Able to influence and engage people.
- Able to provide meaningful care.
- Able to balance BAU with strategic initiatives and occasional left-field tasks.
- Able to provide calm and timely support.
- Enjoys being part of a strong, resilient team in a dynamic and diverse environment.
