Responsibilities
- Assist the imaging team in providing excellent patient care and customer service.
- Ensure the smooth daily running of the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine department.
- Provide patient-focused care, ensuring comfort and emotional support throughout imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Help in managing accurate record-keeping.
- Optimize the Radiology Information System.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Assist with patient identification and maintain records.
- Support clinical procedures.
- Prioritize tasks.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Support the team in providing a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
- Motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
- Ideally studying towards a tertiary qualification.
- Committed to the advancement of techniques and technology.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling considerate and professional communication with patients, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and take independent action as required.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Experience using medical software systems.
- Experience in prioritizing tasks effectively, with a focus on patient needs and team coordination.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments, potentially including professional references, functional questionnaire, national police check, working with children check, and vaccination evidence.
