About the Role
As a Security Solution Architect, you will lead the design and governance of secure, resilient, and integrated technology solutions within Ventia’s complex technology environment. You will work across major projects, programs, and work-winning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end security solution architecture from concept through to implementation and transition.
- Design solutions across Azure, AWS, SAP, enterprise networks, identity, integration platforms, OT/IoT, and connected assets.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modelling, ensuring security is embedded through the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide architecture governance and assurance across delivery teams, vendors, and systems integrators.
- Ensure solutions meet Ventia’s security, compliance, resilience, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with cyber, infrastructure, application, and project teams to guide design decisions and resolve technical risks.
Requirements
- Strong security and solution architecture experience across complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical, supportable solutions.
- Strong experience across network and security architecture, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of OT, IoT, industrial control systems, and connected asset security.
- Experience with identity and access management, Zero Trust, and secure connectivity.
- Understanding of Defence, DISP, ISM, and SOCI/critical infrastructure requirements.
- Experience taking architecture through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with security architecture reviews, threat modelling, and secure-by-design principles.
- Collaborative, analytical, and confident working across technology, business, and delivery teams to deliver secure outcomes.
