About the Role
As Performance Director, you will serve as the strategic subject-matter expert and commercial anchor for mid- and low-funnel performance products across Australia and New Zealand. You will bridge sales opportunities and operational execution, translating complex programmatic capabilities into high-converting commercial propositions to drive ROI for agency and brand partners.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Operational teams to elevate client conversations regarding performance products.
- Architect performance strategies, RFP responses, and proactive pitches for native, display, and CTV.
- Articulate the value proposition of performance advertising on the open web.
- Drive adoption and campaign effectiveness through best practices in programmatic bidding, conversion optimization, and targeting.
- Analyze campaign metrics to optimize strategies and unlock incremental revenue.
- Align client performance KPIs with operational execution from pitch to delivery.
- Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for internal teams, media agencies, and direct brand clients.
- Educate internal teams on digital performance trends, CTV integration, and programmatic dynamics.
- Cultivate relationships with agency trading desks and performance leads to expand market footprint.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital performance media within agency, publisher, or AdTech environments in Australia or New Zealand.
- Deep knowledge of mid- and low-funnel digital performance solutions across native, display, and CTV.
- Strong experience with performance measurement, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales teams and lead client-facing performance conversations.
- Outstanding communication skills for advising agency partners and cross-functional teams.
- Right to work in Australia without visa sponsorship.
