About the Role
Help rebuild a consumer-facing AI/LegalTech product from the ground up, used by people navigating real legal moments and the lawyers helping them. This is a genuine full stack role with a Frontend focus, offering a flexible, hybrid Sydney-based opportunity with 3 days in the office. Join us to do your best work with interesting tech, free from technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Help design and implement the product architecture.
- Collaborate with team members to re-build the application using TypeScript.
- Design and ship AI features (prompts, evals, tool-use, agent flows) that genuinely change the product's capabilities.
- Own meaningful slices of the product end-to-end.
- Work closely with the leadership team and legal experts.
Requirements
- 8+ years building and shipping full-stack web products in production, ideally including at least one taken from zero to users.
- A track record of accomplishments, including hard problems solved and products shipped.
- Strong data modelling instincts – designed schemas that survived real users and changing requirements.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into a product (prompts, evals, tool use, or agent flows).
- Worked on a greenfield project or in an early-stage team.
- Exposure to legal tech, SaaS products, or early-stage tech teams.
- An interest in machine learning and building new AI models.
- Concise in speech and writing, collaborating openly and positively.
- Driven to make a real difference through work, finding joy in user benefits.
- Understands trade-offs between quality and velocity, striking the right balance.
- Constantly asks questions, seeking deeper understanding and better solutions.
