About the Role
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will own the reliability for managed services customers, ensuring their systems are secure and operational across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will automate tasks, improve system architecture, and contribute to AI-driven solutions for faster incident response and customer problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Own reliability for managed services customers across Azure, AWS, and GCP, adapting to diverse customer environments.
- Participate in a structured on-call rotation with automated triage and noise reduction.
- Utilize defined runbooks for incident response, focusing on automation and proactive problem detection.
- Collaborate with infrastructure experts to enhance incident detection and resolution using AI and automation platforms.
- Provide architectural governance, advising clients on secure, reliable, and maintainable cloud solutions.
- Contribute to the development of managed services solutions and reusable patterns.
- Shape the use of AI and automation to accelerate reliability work and articulate AI solution benefits to clients.
- Build relationships with customer technologists, understanding their needs and potential solutions.
- Contribute to internal optimization and productivity improvements.
Requirements
- Deep experience in Azure Platform Engineering, including building, operating, and scaling enterprise environments via Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong experience in Azure Governance, with a preference for EPAC (Enterprise Policy as Code).
- Deep understanding of Private Networking in Azure.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using commercial Git workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in provisioning and managing core compute workloads, especially Windows Server.
- Fluency with scripting and orchestration technologies for resilient platform architectures.
- A proactive client mindset, identifying bottlenecks and proposing practical solutions.
- Foundational understanding of modern cloud identity and endpoint tools (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Intune).
- Customer-first attitude and ability to work effectively in various team sizes.
- Deep expertise managing production workloads in Azure (AZ-305 and AZ-400 preferred).
- Practical exposure to AWS or GCP is advantageous.
- Functional understanding of modern AI advancements and ability to leverage AI-driven tooling.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, or on-premises infrastructure is a plus.
