About the Role

As a Business Analyst Co-op Student, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting Ontario’s largest energy consumers by collaborating with the Large Customer Accounts team. You will contribute to various initiatives and projects including contract fulfillment, database management, project tracking, customer initiatives, process improvement, communications, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development, analysis and tracking of customer contracts and commitments to meet connection project deliverables.
  • Collect and analyze customer data from several databases (MS CRM, SAP, SharePoint etc.) to develop reporting for business planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and dashboards.
  • Conduct quality assurance monitoring of databases and customer contracts to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory mandates.
  • Support Account Executives with managing large customer relationships by providing project monitoring, invoicing and project commitment tracking.
  • Prepare written material including web content, training documentation and process mapping.
  • Identify issues, problem solve and propose solutions to support continuous improvement of process, contract, and data management activities.

Requirements

  • Discipline: Communications, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Academic Level: Second Year or higher completed.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, especially within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Self-motivated and proactive to complete tasks as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail.
  • Must be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term, or require a work term to graduate.
  • International students must have a proper work permit and Social Insurance Number (SIN).
