About the Role
Customer Service Specialists are needed to support patients with home medical equipment and services. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients and healthcare providers
- Process orders, verify documentation, and schedule equipment deliveries
- Educate patients on financial responsibilities and insurance coverage
- Review and enter information into EMR systems accurately
- Obtain pre-authorizations and verify insurance eligibility
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance processes (preferred)
- Customer-first mindset and attention to detail
