About the Role
The Traffic Operations team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join its team. The Senior Traffic Engineer is responsible for conducting investigations and technical assessments, making appropriate day-to-day decisions in relation to customer issues and recommending resolutions for traffic and parking issues.

- Make recommendations to resolve traffic and parking issues.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in traffic engineering, transport planning and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Extensive work experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, project management and/or road safety, preferably in Local or State Government.
- Demonstrated ability to understand regulations, policies, guidelines, technical directions and procedures.
- Able to resolve complex traffic and transport related problems.
- Negotiate viable options with key stakeholders.
- Implement preferred solutions with management approval.

- $134,910.00 - 153,323.00 per annum plus superannuation
