Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and diagnose/resolve technical issues.
  • Handle customer calls and resolve technical problems to ensure customer trust.
  • Participate in 24-hour hotline support rotation for emergency requests.
  • Manage and conduct preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate consumables, parts, and schedules for preventive maintenance.
  • Manage and conduct technical training schedules.
  • Provide technical training to internal staff and distributors.
  • Attend overseas training sessions.
  • Check parts inventory and place monthly orders.
  • Manage and ship used parts.
  • Process quarterly returns of defective parts to headquarters for replacement.
  • Manage and perform hardware and software modifications.
  • Update on modification status and review technical documentation.
  • Prepare, perform, and complete hardware and software installations for diagnostic medical equipment.
  • Coordinate installation tasks based on monthly schedules.
  • Provide on-site support for customers post-installation to ensure smooth equipment operation.
  • Track and resolve various technical issues efficiently.
  • Support academic activities, including application settings and operator training.
  • Communicate directly with headquarters.
  • Periodically update and provide technical information.
  • Manage technical documentation such as service manuals, user guides, and academic guides.
  • Oversee quality control, including KFDA audit preparation and management of measurement equipment lists.

Requirements

  • No experience required (new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-based major (e.g., electrical, electronic, biomedical, computer) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of in vitro diagnostics, particularly for clinical laboratories.
  • Knowledge of medical instrument repair.
