About the Role

KKR's 2027 Summer Analyst Program offers an opportunity to join a leading global investment firm during your undergraduate career. This role is within KKR's Insurance business in New York, focusing on Quantitative Asset Liability Management (QALM) and Liquidity Risk. You will contribute to the firm's Python-based risk management system, Beacon, gaining exposure to risk, investments, actuarial, and finance across KKR's insurance platform. Exceptional performers may receive full-time offers for 2028.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the QALM team with analytics projects, including report production and tool enhancements.
  • Support the QALM team with hedging projects, including onboarding new initiatives and extending hedging code.
  • Assist the Liquidity Risk team with liquidity projects, including enhancing stress testing and monitoring buffer funding.
  • Gain familiarity with KKR’s proprietary Python-based risk ecosystem, including hedging, scenario generation, and risk reporting.
  • Become familiar with ALM reporting and monitor asset, liability, and derivatives risk.
  • Perform analysis on asset positioning relative to liquidity objectives.
  • Present project results in various team and working group meetings.

Requirements

  • Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate program between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Area of study in a quantitative discipline such as math, statistics, computer science, or related technical fields.
  • Strong analytic, programming, and database skills.
  • Understanding of various asset classes, derivatives, and risk management concepts.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and quality.
  • Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance.
  • Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with people of varying backgrounds.
  • Strong sense of business ethics.
  • Ability to work independently and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
