About the Role
As a Casual - Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices, ensuring they feel safe, valued, respected, and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, and household tasks within a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle, and choices.
- Ensure residents feel safe, valued, respected, and engaged.
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living.
- Assist with personal care needs, including personal hygiene.
- Attend to the daily running of the household.
- Maintain excellent records using AutumnCare or similar software.
- Follow the care plan.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications are essential.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role.
- Residential aged care experience is highly regarded.
- Must be available to work multiple shifts through the week.
- Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with the ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights/responsibilities.
- Ability to follow the care plan.
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
