About the Role

This internship offers a 4-month term (January - April 2027) with Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. within CC&L Financial Group. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in downtown Toronto, gaining hands-on experience in asset management and working closely with investment professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and support across various teams including Asset Management, Investments, Development and ESG.
Assist in the preparation of property valuations and calculation of investment returns.
Assist with external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements.
Provide general asset management support including financial analysis of leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects, and financing alternatives.
Assist with underwriting, due diligence, and the acquisition/disposition process, including preparing Investment Committee and client reports.
Gather and evaluate economic and market data.
Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments at the corporate level.
Provide support to Crestpoint ESG initiatives.

Requirements

Students in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Real Estate, Commerce, or Finance.
Ambitious students with a strong academic track record.
At least one completed internship/co-op work experience in a similar role.
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ARGUS real estate software is an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent financial and analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proven ability to think logically and problem solve effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing changes and interruptions while meeting deadlines.
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in real estate and/or real estate related fields.
