About the Role
We are seeking an interested architect or civil engineer to join our architecture and structural planning team at our medium-sized, decades-long successful architecture and engineering firm in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. Our projects are diverse, ranging from multi-family houses and kindergartens to nursing homes, office buildings, and industrial construction for professional and public clients. We offer innovative solutions for new buildings as well as thoughtful planning for renovations, extensions, and attic conversions of existing buildings.
Responsibilities
- Creation of preventive fire protection concepts and verifiable fire protection certificates for new and existing buildings.
- Technical consultation for clients, architects, and specialist planners on all fire protection matters.
- Constructive fire protection technical site supervision from planning to implementation.
- Coordination with authorities and participation in inspections and walkthroughs.
- Preparation of expert reports for fire damage.
- Review and evaluation of execution plans regarding fire protection requirements.
- Co-design and further development of internal fire protection standards and processes.
Requirements
- Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, or fire protection engineering.
- Qualified degree as a specialist planner or expert for preventive fire protection.
- Experience in planning and collaborating with architects, inspectors, and specialist planners.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in fire protection.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Comprehensive IT skills.
