About the Role
We are seeking a structural engineer to join our structural planning and construction team in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. Our projects range from multi-family homes to kindergartens, nursing homes, office buildings, and industrial construction for public clients. We offer innovative solutions for new buildings as well as well-thought-out plans for renovations, extensions, and attic conversions of existing buildings.
Responsibilities
- Creation of structural analyses in structural planning (HOAI service phases 1-5)
- Development of stable and economical structural concepts for diverse construction projects
- Coordination and review of formwork and reinforcement plans during execution planning
- Close coordination with architecture, MEP planning, and other project participants
- Participation in external meetings with clients and specialist planners
- Technical team leadership and schedule coordination of designers on larger projects
- Cost and additional claim tracking for own projects
Requirements
- Completed studies in civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering
- Specialization in structural engineering / building construction
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a structural engineer in building construction
- Comprehensive IT skills, preferably in MB Software, Infograph, AutoCAD, MS-Office
- Knowledge in planning and collaborating with architects and specialist planners using the BIM planning method (Building Information Modeling) is desirable
- Practical experience in construction or an apprenticeship in a construction trade is advantageous
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
