About the Role
We are looking for an empathetic communicator with exceptional attention to detail to join our Funeral Arrangement team. You will be a family's guide and support through their most vulnerable time, arranging and communicating every step of the funeral service process.
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound calls from families who have questions about their current arrangements
- Proactively updating families of the status of their arrangements
- Actively listening to families, giving them the time and space to share their grief with a trusted person
- Being their trusted guide and support throughout the entire funeral arrangement process
- Coordinating logistics, ceremony arrangements and communicating the funeral service details to all of their extended network
- Meeting families in person at our local office if/as needed
Requirements
- A genuine love of providing empathy and support to people from all walks of life
- Comfortable directing people who need thoughtful, non-judgmental guidance
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with technology and following processes
- The ability to take control of a conversation and become a trusted advisor
