About the Role

Play an important role in keeping fuel moving across a national network that supports the Army, Navy and Air Force. Take ownership of fuel planning for your allocated region, forecasting future fuel requirements, coordinating supply, and ensuring Defence sites have the fuel they need. This role offers exposure to the full supply chain, working closely with suppliers, operational teams, and Defence stakeholders to manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and identify potential supply risks.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of fuel planning for your allocated region
Forecast future fuel requirements
Coordinate supply
Ensure Defence sites have the fuel they need
Manage inventory levels
Coordinate fuel deliveries
Identify potential supply risks
Engage with Operations staff, site supervisors, and Defence representatives
Build strong relationships with stakeholders
Work together to solve problems and plan upcoming fuel movements

Requirements

Experience in fuel, oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation fuel or similar industries
Experience in supply planning, forecasting, logistics or supply chain operations
Ability to build relationships with teams, contractors and customers
Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things done
Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Defence clearance
