About the Role
As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience by meeting their end-to-end financial needs and goals. This involves transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating customers on available financial solutions, including digital options. The role is primarily branch-based and focuses on delivering high standards of customer service to foster customer advocacy. You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.
- Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
- Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
- Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
- Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
- Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
- Experience as a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Sound understanding of compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A growth mindset is essential.
