About the Role

Everyday Coffee Company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support frontline and management employees across multiple states. This role is critical to ensuring consistent HR practices, legal compliance, and a positive employee experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues
  • Investigate and resolve workplace concerns in partnership with leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support corrective action, documentation, and termination processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and confidential files
  • Administer HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Oracle HCM, Workday, UKG)
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and promotions
  • Ensure accurate employee data and system integrations
  • Generate HR reports (turnover, headcount, compliance metrics)
  • Support recruiting and hiring workflows as needed
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Ensure smooth new hire experiences and system readiness
  • Track completion of training and compliance requirements
  • Administer performance review cycles
  • Support coaching and performance improvement plans
  • Facilitate training and development programs
  • Assist with succession planning and leadership development
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Partner with Payroll on audits, corrections, and issue resolution
  • Assist with leave administration (FMLA, ADA, workers’ comp)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a multi-state environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, UKG, Oracle, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • High discretion with confidential information
  • Experience in QSR, retail, or hospitality environments (Preferred)
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting rapid growth or startup environments (Preferred)
  • Payroll or benefits administration experience (Preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
