About the Role
Excel Facility Services is looking for a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning services, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly, and executing the scope of work for all assigned locations.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
- Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
- Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location
- Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
- Restock supplies in areas assigned
- Maintain assigned areas in an attractive and clean condition
- Notify supervisor of necessary repairs of facilities and/or equipment
- Participate in workshops, training, and seminars
- Request janitorial supplies from supervisor to ensure adequate quantities for daily use
- Ensure that the doors are locked at night (if applicable)
- Use Time and Attendance system to report hours and for payroll purposes
- Complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager ASAP if any issues
- Always wear uniform and IDs while working
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently as needed
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
