About the Role
As a member of the Brand Communication team, the Digital Performance Marketing Lead drives cost-effective customer acquisition and retention through digital channels. This role involves managing, optimizing, and reporting on online campaigns to enhance brand awareness and provide actionable insights to guide consumers through the purchase process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across all digital channels (SEM, SEO, Social, Programmatic, Affiliate, Display, Retargeting, Custom Audiences).
- Translate campaign plans and business objectives into clear online customer acquisition strategies.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the marketing/CRM calendar and e-commerce roadmap.
- Manage daily online customer acquisition initiatives in line with global guidelines, local needs, and budget.
- Collaborate with e-commerce, CE, and media teams to ensure a seamless user experience and conversion rate optimization.
- Oversee creative and performance media agencies and IBS to ensure timely delivery of high-quality online assets.
- Coordinate with campaign managers and HQ teams for localization and production of digital performance content.
- Track, analyze, and optimize campaigns towards goals (ROI, CPA, CPL, CPM, CPC, CVR%, App Downloads, Social Engagement).
- Conduct A/B tests and compare performance against best practices and competitors.
- Create regular reports with key metrics and actionable insights.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies (AI-driven optimization, MarTech, mobile attribution).
- Propose and test new digital channels and customer acquisition strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and share best practices internally.
- Expand the use of AI and automation in campaign optimization.
- Increase focus on data-driven personalization and audience segmentation.
- Integrate CRM and performance marketing for a comprehensive customer journey.
- Emphasize cross-channel measurement and attribution.
Requirements
- University degree.
- Business-level English proficiency (speaking, writing, reading) is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital customer acquisition activities (SEM, Performance, Comparison, Programmatic, Retargeting, Custom Audiences) that drive audience traffic to websites.
- Excellent digital development skills.
- Strongly recommended experience with DMP, DSP, DoubleClick, Search (Google certification is a plus), and SEO.
- Brand management experience.
- Website management experience is a plus.

Salary/Compensations
- Approximately 6,000,000 JPY to 8,140,000 JPY (base annual salary)
- Total annual income approximately 7,000,000 JPY to 9,000,000 JPY (including base annual salary, fixed bonus, grade allowance, and annual performance bonus)
